摘要: Robust control theory deals with design and analysis of control systems operating under uncertainty conditions and unknown exogenous perturbations. Attractive and Invariant Ellipsoids is the method of robust control theory, which is aimed at a control design by tuning of attractive and invariant ellipsoidal sets of the closed-loop system in order to minimise
the effect of uncertainties and disturbances. This talk introduces some basics of linear control design by means of Attractive and Invariant Ellipsoids.

时间10:00-12:00,学术报告: Homogeneous Control Design using Attractive and Invariant Ellipsoids Method.
摘要:Homogeneity is a dilation symmetry, which is useful for advanced control design. Homogeneous control systems may demonstrate a better robustness, a faster convergence and smaller overshoots comparing with linear algorithms. In this talk presents an extension of Attractive and Invariant Ellipsoids Method to homogeneous control systems. Similarly to linear control, the design of optimal (in the sense of minimal invariant ellipsoid) homogeneous control system can be based on solving a semi-definite programming problem.
讲座人介绍:
Andrey Polyakov received his PhD Degree in System Analysis, Control and Information Processing from the Voronezh State University, Russia in 2005. Till 2010 he was
an Associate Professor in the same university. From 2007 to 2008 he was a postdoc in CINVESTAV, Mexico. Form 2010 to 2014, Andrey Polyakov was a Leading Researcher of the Institute of Control Sciences of Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2013, he joined the Inria centre of the University of Lille in France as a researcher. His main research interests include various aspects nonlinear control and estimation.
